Part 2 童年游戏-参考答案
Sample Answer 1 (6分段参考):
I would describe a game I enjoyed playing when I was younger. Actually, it was a game called 'Escape Room'., you know, a kind of exciting and challenging game that I used to play with my friends during weekends or summer breaks. I remember back then, it was so popular that many entertainment center or even department store had the ‘Escape Room’ section.
As to how to play the game... well, the concept of the game involved being locked inside a themed room so players needed to solve a series of puzzles and riddles to find clues and then to escape within a specified time limit. I would say playing 'Escape Room' was totally a thrilling experience as it required teamwork, critical thinking, and quick decision-making. Each member of the team had to use their problem-solving skills and communicate effectively to unravel the mysteries and progress through the game. The immersive nature of the game made it even more enjoyable, as we felt a sense of urgency and adrenaline rush to beat the clock.
Speaking of why I enjoyed it...well, it must be the feeling of accomplishment and satisfaction. When we successfully solved a challenging puzzle or discovered a hidden clue, we usually felt that we were real and talented detectives. Also, the game provided a unique opportunity to test our intelligence, collaboration, and lateral thinking abilities. It also allowed us to bond as a team and create lasting memories. In the future, I think I will play ‘Escape Room’ again with my friends as it’s a kind of unique experience that cannot be replaced by other games.
Sample Answer 2 (7分段参考):
There are so many games that I enjoyed playing when I was younger, but my all-time-favorite was 'Hot Seat.' a game that involves guessing words or phrases based on clues given by the other players. One person would sit in the 'hot seat' while the rest of us would take turns providing hints or describing the word without directly saying it. The person in the hot seat had to guess the word within a time limit.
I firstly played this game during an English class and to enhance our paraphrasing skills, our teacher taught us this game. Even since then, I have been into playing Hot Seat and basically it is suitable for all kinds of occasions, like a party, a family gathering or works as a great ice-breaking activity.
Moving onto why I enjoyed it...first of all, it was an incredibly fun and engaging game that brought a lot of laughter and excitement to my friends and me. In addition, what made this game so enjoyable was the element of surprise and the challenge of trying to guess the word based on the witty clues given by others. The excitement would build as the clues became more challenging, and we would burst into laughter when someone finally guessed the word correctly or came up with hilarious guesses.plus, I found it work well at intriguing me to learn more English words cos it required me to react quickly and creatively, being fluent and articulate in English. When playing it, I could just forget about being shy, trying really hard to describe the unspeakable words.
