Part 2 传统节日-参考答案
Sample Answer 1 (6分段参考):
Okay, so I'd like to talk about the most popular Chinese traditional festival: Chinese Lunar New Year. It's also known as the Spring Festival. Without a doubt, it's the biggest and most important holiday in China. It usually falls in late January or early February and lasts for 15 days, and it marks the beginning of a new lunar year and the end of winter.
So what are the typical new year activities in China? Well, usually families gather together and enjoy traditional foods. People also watch the spring festival gala. It's like the longest variety show ever! To be honest, even though it's very festive, I found it a bit boring to watch, just a bunch of people wearing colorful costumes, dancing, and singing, not very creative, I think. Another interesting feature is the color red, which is everywhere, because it symbolizes good luck and fortune.
In my family, our tradition is to make dumplings at the New Year's Eve. My mom is very good at it and I also enjoy helping her out. Another fun thing to do during the new year is to play mahjong, which is like a board game played by four. It's my favorite thing to do during the holidays, cuz if i'm lucky enough, I can win lots of money!
Personally, I REALLY love the spring festival, cuz I can have many days off. It's a time for family reunion and relaxation. I can stay up late and play mahjong all night and I can receive red envelops filled with cash, and I can spend wonderful time with my family. So of course, I love it!
Sample Answer 2 (7分段参考):
Alright, so there's this cool festival in China called the Mid-Autumn Festival, or the Moon Festival. It happens on the 15th day of the eighth lunar month, usually around September or early October. It's been going on for ages and is a big deal all over the country.
During the Mid-Autumn Festival, families and friends get together to admire the full moon. People gather in parks or gardens, set up tables and chairs, and bring loads of tasty food and snacks such as mooncake to share. It's like a big picnic under the moonlight!
Oh, and let's not forget the lanterns! Kids and even adults carry around these colorful lanterns in all sorts of shapes and sizes. It's a beautiful sight to see all those lanterns lighting up the night. Some folks even have competitions to see who can make the coolest lantern design. It's all about creativity!
The Mid-Autumn Festival is more than just a party, though. It's rooted in old stories and legends, like the one about Chang'e, the moon goddess. People use this festival to give thanks for a great harvest and to spend quality time with their loved ones, all while enjoying the moon's soft glow.
So, what do you think? Sounds pretty awesome, right? For me, the Mid-Autumn Festival is a cherished time for my family to come together, observe our tradition, and have a fantastic time.
