Sample Answer 1 (6分段参考):
Well, the special and impressive English class I’d like to mention is a foreign teacher class exactly like English salons. To be honest, that was the first time I participated in such a session after getting into the high school featuring in foreign language education.
I still remember that the Teacher, a young nice lady called Diane, encouraged us to open our mouths and speak as much as possible because we had done so much reading and listening in my English learning, but I always felt so nervous and anxious to speak fluently.
Surprisingly, Diane gave me a winkle and told me that if I could introduce myself in front of our partner, not the whole the class, she would sing a song for as to keep me company. That was exceptional, right? So I said to myself, why don’t I give a shot! Then we just put up the courage like no one would judge our pronunciation or grammar at all, face to face, we felt so secure and supported. Step by step, I felt more confident and all the words I memorized could be more applied into practice automatically. That was amazing.
All in all, I think this class is actually really useful and efficient. It not only helps me improve my English but also cultivate my confidence, and thanks to Diane, English has already become one of my favourite subjects. This is why I’d like to share it with you.
Sample Answer 2 (7分段参考):
Okie, the English class I would like to talk about today is actually an online master class by Neil Gaiman, a fabulous script writer,a master storyteller and a professor in UK. Actually, it was an afternoon on Saturday and I was browsing the Internet spontaneously, idling the day away, this writing session just popped out, so said to myself: Why not?
Unlike the Mr. “by the book”, Professor Gaiman gave this lecture with very nice, gentle voice at a slow pace in a very amusing way. The first stage was [ Where to find inspiration], honestly, this question had been haunting me for years, according to Professor, everyone should have this “compost heap ”the books you read, the songs you listen to,the people you encounter can all go on the compost heap, maybe a year later, out of them grow beautiful stories. Well, that was a fresh metaphor, right? I would say, there was no interactions at all, but what Neil Gaiman said did give me a little push forward.
Then here came my favorite part: [Subvert the familiar], Neil reminded us to take a familiar story and inspect into it, especially the part people took for granted and look at it from odd angles, suddenly, it might turn into another story. Wow! That was a brand-new idea! You know what? The worldly famous Snow White totally flipped into a dark story due to Neil’s interpretation! Trust me! You should take this class as well! To my surprise, it was rational indeed! Sitting in front of the screen, I couldn’t help applauding!
This class didn’t take me long for it was divided into several episodes but did relate to me. It is not only about storytelling or writing a fiction, but also the exploration into people’s heart and civilization and even a journey! This is why I would highly recommend this class to you if possible!
