What are the advantages and disadvantages of cultural diversity?

解题思路: 

这是一道优缺点类的题目。从优点上来讲，考生不妨思考一下，文化多样性对于个性，创造力方面带来的积极影响，以及是否可以在实际生活学习或工作的场景中得以应用，带来一些便利或利益? 

而从消极的方面也可能会导致误解不适应，甚至文化冲突等方面的负面影响。

Sample Answer:

There are significant advantages and disadvantages that multi-functional diversity can bring to organisations or companies. Especially in some large-scale international companies with the employees from a wide range of backgrounds or experiences comes a greater understanding of customers points of views. When it comes to the food industry or tourism it is never a bad thing to increase brand's ability to cope with and ever-changing market and increase innovation and creativity. On the other hand, there are plenty of negative effects of cultural difference in school or working environment. I mean it could lead to the barriers of mutual understanding and causing disrespect or conflict between two groups. For example, the language part, as an international student, in the first few weeks, you can easily get confused and find it hard to overcome the cultural shock.
