题目:
Some people say it is government responsibility transport children to school. While others believe parents should transport their children to school. Discuss both view and give your opinion.
范文:
School buses that pick students up from home to school can be regarded as a convenience for many parents, so some consider it the obligation of governments to establish regular routes and organize vehicles to transports students to school. However, some others insist that children should be sent to school in their parents’ company.
The shuttle buses to school are in the interest of most families. In regard to parents, particularly those with several children greatly different in ages, the means of transport is a great time-saver and can relieve the morning rush as their commuting distance is reduced. In terms of the young passengers, their awareness of punctuality is raised simply because buses do not wait and their social circle is expanded from a mere class to an extra group living nearby, which can sharpen their social skills, for pupils in particular. As well as the major benefits, this fixed routine also guarantees the security of students thanks to registered drivers and highly identical coloring warning other vehicles.
There are also certain advantages for parents lifting their children to school. The trip seems to be an excellent chance to have talks and share what they have seen and heard, compared with time at home when every member of the family is engaged in one’s own business. The extra communication may sometimes be vital for adolescents in the rebellious stage. Moreover, on condition that the buses do collect fees from the family and the route to school is right on the way to work, passing the school can save expenditure for the family and time for kids as buses have to pick up all passengers on a zigzagging course.
In my point of view, apart from some minor cases, most family derive benefits from school buses and if the government budget is ideally sufficient on this subject, more reasonable routes without fares will gain more passengers whose parents then are able to focus more on businesses at workplace.
