题目:
Some people think financial aid from international organizations is important for developing countries. Others believe that practical aid and advice is more important. Discuss both views and give your own opinion.
范文:
In order to avoid economic and survival crisis as well as promote living standard in developing countries, international organizations are providing both financial and practical aids to them. Either means of support works in certain circumstances and the significance is illustrated in the following passage.
Financial assistance possesses flexible nature in general. This kind of support, funding, donation, or no-interest loans is granted to the target government who can allocate it in different fields - to overcome poverty, to educate future scientists or to build factories - according to its economic planning. Besides, the governors comprehend more than donators about domestic situations and thus the supplementary funds are assigned in more reasonable ways whereas the function of given goods and materials are already fixed.
Supporters of materials and advice satisfy immediate urges and benefit long-term development in a more efficient way. When disasters and emergencies occur, the less-developed nations are generally in need of practical help. In earthquakes for example, professional rescue teams and emergency resources are more genuine as they are instantly put into use. In the long run, the assistant constructions on roads, factories and other infrastructures lay solid foundations for future development, which enables the locals to earn their livings out of these facilities over time. In regard to advice, the helpers from developed nations have learnt or witnessed the triumphs and lessons during the whole developing process, so their guidance throws lights on the paths for developing countries and avoids the wastes in resources and manpower.
In my view, although economic supports seem versatile, practical assistance and sincere guidance are better in efficiency and more satisfying with time.
