范文:
The youngsters nowadays, particularly those raised in cities, are quite reluctant to spend their leisure time outdoors even though they have been acknowledged about the psychological and physical benefits out of activities in natural surroundings. The young generation is actually quite innocent for this situation and other parties are accountable to improve it.
There are three main factors in less interest in outdoor activities by younger generation, and the primary one is the reduced time for recreation, as either the academic pressure or the employers are making huge demands on them and thus their learning or working hours extends. To make matters worse, modern indoor recreations such as entertainment programs, online gaming and social networking are way more accessible and addictive which can undoubtedly gain more favor than outdoor events. Last but not least, schools and families seem to have prioritized academic performance over outdoor exercise maybe because it is considered to be potentially risky and time-consuming.
Several means can be adopted to lead the young back to nature. For children, it is essential to organize regular field trips and family day out as pupils are still willing to participate in collective and domestic events. When it comes to teens and colleges whose peer group is fairly appealing, activities with social and admiring nature like surfing and camping at reasonable price should be organized so that teenagers will take part in together during holidays. In addition to these measures which may have developed the love for nature, government should urge enterprises not to exploit new graduates and guarantee their young employees sufficient and decent spare time. With all these approaches, the nature can gradually win its young lovers back from electronic devices.
To sum up, the younger generation has accepted the current way of recreation passively and with the adoption of right approaches, the present situation can be improved.
