范文:
In the present stage, it is not an overstatement to say that technology, especially the breakthrough of transportation and internet has absolutely revolutionized the way we live, work and learn. The high-tech accelerates mobility of human and promotes people’s interaction with each other without the limitation of space and time, so the trend of international tourism is inevitable for a long time.
It is not uncommon that the development of international tourism is win-win, for visitors and for those countries. Specifically, the increase of international tourism is beneficial to cultural communication. By interacting with local residents, people can acquire a better and much-needed understanding of local customs, which can definitely stimulate the spread and integration of diverse culture. At the same time, people, especially the youth, travel to other countries as an educational opportunity that can help bridge the gap between different kinds of people. Last month, I went to Japan, travelling from Osaka to Hokkaido, deeply attracted by its unique landscape and humanities. When I was a child, my exposure to Japanese culture was limited in movies and cartoon, which was unavoidably narrow and even distorted Specifically, the Geisha, is often misunderstood as a prostitute, but nothing could be further from the truth. Geisha are cultured girls who are high trained in various skills, performing the Japanese tea, dancing and singing to show the traditional Japanese culture. On the economic level, to most developing countries, the tourism revenues, as their dominant source of income, can promote the economic growth and indeed improve the local living standard.
Granted, the negative effects of convenient national tourism cannot be neglected. Obviously, people from different cultures may collide due to the misunderstanding of various cultures. Moreover, the constantly increasing number of visitors may lay a heavy burden on local environment and historical relics. However, these can be avoided if effective laws and policies are passed and enforced to guarantee mutual understanding and well-behaved visiting.
In my view, with better interaction between cultures and stimulated economic development, growing population travelling to other countries is generally a positive phenomenon.
