Sample Answer 1 (6 分段参考):
I’d like to talk about how to make dumplings. You know, dumpling is a kind of traditional food and Chinese people usually make dumplings for New Year celebrations. Whenever I was enjoying those tasty dumplings, I kept wondering how they were made, until one time, during the near year preparations, my grandmother asked me if I would like to learn how to make dumplings. I was so excited that I was finally going to do it myself!
So I learned this skill from my amazing grandmother, the best cook in my family. Basically, this is how we make dumplings. First, buy some wrappers from the market. We can also make the wrappers ourselves, but that would be too much trouble. Then, make the filling with chopped pork and cabbage, and add some salt, pepper, and olive oil. And the next step is to scoop the filling onto each wrapper and fold the sides of the wrapper together. When doing this, the trick is to make sure the edge of the wrapper is wet so it’s easier for the sides to stick together. Hm that’s one important thing that I learned from my grandmom。 And finally, we just need to boil the dumplings for 5 minutes or so.
I think overall it’s not that easy to make dumplings, because there’re so many steps and we need to prepare so many ingredients. But to me it was worth the effort. And it’s also a very useful skill. For example, when I study abroad, I can invite some international friends to my apartment and make Chinese dumplings for them. This would be a great way to get together and have some fun!

Okay I really like this topic I got because I feel like the younger generation can learn lots of things from older people. And personally speaking, one skill I learnt is to recycle, reuse and repurpose everything. And of course, I learned this skill from my incredibly talented grandmother.
You see, I grew up in a nuclear family with both parents working busy jobs. Every year during summer I used to spend two months with my grandparents. And my grandmother, she would find imaginative ways to reuse and recycle everything in her home. For example, she would never dispose old clothes and would instead sew little pieces together to make curtains, pillowcases, tablecloths, things like that. And she would also recycle glass jars and use them as containers for spices and tea. Another thing was that she would keep me busy with craft activities like making old card boxes into fun toys, cars, and dolls.
I mostly learned everything by observing her and helping her with some of the repurposing projects she did. And then I started to implement her ideas at my place, and as I grew older it became a habit.
Now I feel so indebted to my grandma because it was she who taught me these valuable skills. I’m sure you’ll agree that recycling and reusing waste is very important in modern times, because our landfills are filling so fast and we need to reduce the amount of waste that goes to landfills. so yeah, to put it together, I am so glad that I am doing my part in saving our planet.
