I'd like to talk about an interesting city. It’s a city called Dali located in the Southwest of China. It’ pretty far from hometown and takes about 4 hours to fly there. Dali is a famous tourism destination and famous for many things, like rice noodles, tropical fruits, tea, warm and pleasant weather, romantic atmosphere, etc.
As to why I believe Dali is an interesting city...well, it’s a city that will never make you feel bored. There are so many relaxing activities you can do there, like visiting some botanical gardens and forest park during the daytime. When it’s nighttime, you can visit some night markets and bars, indulging yourself in the vibrant an entertaining night life.
Moving on to how I feel about Dali...well, the first thing pops into my head is local people’s lifestyle. I mean, rather than spending hours on commuting or work hard to make some peanuts, people there always enjoy a very slow-paced life, spending more time on getting connected with there families or friends. So it’s a heaven for some busy young persons who need a short break from their hectic urban life. Plus, I feel people who were born there are really lucky as they can enjoy the marvelous natural views, having fresh and delicious cuisine there every single day. In the future, I would like to live there for a while for sure if I had a chance.

The interesting city I'm going to talk about is Lijiang, which is situated in the southwest of China. What holds so many appeals to be is that in this city, high-rise buildings contrast entirely with age-old houses? In addition, as a touristy place, the city boasts an exciting mix of rural adventure and urban energy. Consequently, this city has attracted millions of visitors all over the globe each year.
It has been widely known for its ancient town, on the grounds that, there've been tons of quint rooms,
exquisite pavilions and age-old stone bridges, where tourists could get a real sense of history, appreciating traditional architecture styles. As a result, it's been a great place for people to acquire knowledge of history and culture.
I've got to know this place from a fascinating exhibition, which tells about a once-in-a-life-time journey through Yunnan, including a visit to the town.
To put it in a nutshell, I'd like to explain why I find this city intriguing. First things first, it's been a great place for outdoor activity lovers, famously known for spectacular natural splendors, in particular, snow- capped mountains, where people can climb to the peak so they've got the chance to escape city stress. On top of that, visitors can have a leisurely lifestyle, strolling along the narrow streets, sipping a cuppa at one of the hilltop cafes and appreciating the fabulous view of snowy mountains. Above all else, tourists can enjoy the exotic minority cultures to widen their outlook.
