So, this has been years, but it took place in the first year of my university. My friends and I went to this Mexican restaurant in my college town. It was a family-run restaurant run by some Mexicans, so I expected the food to be authentic. To be honest, I'd never been to any Mexican restaurant before, so I didn't know what to expect.
When we entered the restaurant, a receptionist was waiting. He kindly asked whether we had a reservation, led us in, and had us seated. A server then came over with the menu and took our order. He behaved really professionally because he wasn't being aggressive by simply telling us the signature dishes. Instead, he provided us information about the dishes, like what ingredients were used and how the ingredients were prepared. Not only was he kind when we ordered, but he also refilled our drinks and checked our dining experience without being irritating.
To sum up, it was a pleasant meal. I mean, the food was slightly overpriced and I wasn't too impressed by the taco I ordered, but the service I received overall made it totally worthwhile. It was rather unfortunate that he didn't get tipped. I would recommend you to this place if you happen to be around, and I guess their food and service would not let you down.

Alright then, to start with, I'll talk about what the service was, and I think the one that made a good impression on me took place a couple of months ago.
I’ve been using my old iPad mini for roughly 6 years. A couple of months ago, I found that it didn’t charge, though it had been plugged in for over 10 hours. So, I supposed the battery was pretty much dead. Then I searched online and found people with similar situations chose to take advantage of Apple’s battery replacement program at a relatively affordable price. I was not sure if it would work.
So I got all my personal data backed up beforehand, went directly to the Apple Store in my city, and inquired about that service from one of the Apple Geniuses. I told him the battery’s diminished ability could no longer hold an electrical charge. He then checked the overall condition of my iPad and typed in my serial number for some further diagnosis. After that, he told me something that stunned me, which was my original type was out of production, and there were no longer such models in stock. In this case, they could offer me a newer model, which is the iPad mini 2, for 99 dollars. And all I needed to do was to wait for the shipping, which would take about one week.
This is something out of my expectation, I mean, I had imagined the whole process to be quite complex and the replacement fee would be out of my budget. But the whole experience turned out to be highly satisfying. It was so efficient and I sort of upgraded my tablet at a reasonable price. Needless to say, it would be one of the best services I've ever had.
