What outdoor activities do people like?

本题可以通过分类进行拓展，如不同年龄段的不同偏好。
Sample Answer:
Well different strokes for different folks. But in general, there’s an age difference. little kids might prefer some fun and silly outdoor activities like climbing trees and picking berries. Young people may enjoy something a bit more challenging like ziplining or rock climbing. But when it comes to older people, they’d do something like taking a walk in a park or fishing by a pond.
Question 2:
What are the differences between the outdoor activities children did in the past and now?
解题思路:
此题为今夕对比题，需要注意时态的区别，提问对象是孩子。可以先告诉考官现在人们更喜欢待在家里 而不是做户外运动，然后再说一说不同的户外运动对孩子的吸引力。
Sample Answer:
Well, to be honest, I think outdoor activities were more popular in the past. Traditional outdoor activities include hiking, picnicking, and biking. Parents would take their kids out for those things. But now kids just stay at home and play on their phones or ipads I guess. But one thing I’ve noticed is that more families in China are getting more interested in camping than before. They’d buy all the gear and go to a camping site to sleep under the stars. Children love that. It’s really a nice way to get the sting out of daily routine.
Question 3:
Is leisure time important to everyone? Why?
解题思路:
针对重要性类的问题，可以强调没有“它”的后果是什么进行“反证”拓展。
Sample Answer:
Of course, it is. No one can work around the clock all the time. Without time to relax, we’d go crazy.
Leisure time is when we can just let the hair down, have a little get away, hang out with friends, spend time with family, take a trip, go to the museums or places like that. It’s when we can bond with others, develop personal interests, or just have some self-time and get some peace of mind.
Question 4:
Do women have more leisure time than men?
解题思路:
Part 3 的性别对比题可以用“ it depends”的思路，也可以直接给出“yes/no”的观点，再进行解释。
Sample Answer:
Oh I wouldn’t say that. Women, especially working women who have kids, can find their life unmanageable sometimes. They have job duties as well as family commitments to fulfill, which means they can hardly find time for themselves. Some may even complain that they can’t even go to the toilet without their kids tailing them. Men, on the other hand, seem to be less troubled. They can still hide in their caves, playing video games or go out for a smoke or a drink with friends.
