题目解析：
本题既需要描述“收到蛋糕”的前因后果，也需要描述“蛋糕”这个具象的物品。所以本题既有事件经历类话题的特点，也有物品类话题的特点。在进行经历描述的时候需要注意选用的时态，要准确使用一般过去时、过去进行时等和过去相关的时态对经历进行描述。在描述物品时，可以从多个角度，比如视觉、嗅觉、味觉等对“蛋糕”进行描述。本题的难点在于“特殊”二字，我们可以从两个角度进行理解：一种可能性是收到蛋糕的场合比较特殊;另一个是蛋糕本身比较特殊， 比如是手工制作的等等。当然也可以把这两种可能性合并在一起。最后，别忘了描述自己的情感变化。在复杂结构上，本题中可以注意使用虚拟语气、比较级和最高级这些语法结构。
Sample Answer：
It was last September, just a couple of days before the Mid-Autumn Day, I received a parcel from an old friend of mine who has settled down in Guangzhou, a city miles away from where I live.
I unwrapped the package as soon as I got home. What I found was a well-protected box, packaged in a double layer plastic pouch. Inside the box, each individual cake had been sealed separately in its own paper package so that they were still in perfect shape after a long-distance delivering. I hadn't expected to receive a box of mooncakes, so it was a complete surprise. I got even amazed that my friend made these snowskin mooncakes all by herself. I mean, it was the well-designed packaging that misled me. Talking of my friend, we were really close back in high school and those golden days are still fresh in my mind.
Anyway, those cakes were small, round and covered with crystal crust, which was made of glutinous rice. You can see the beautiful patterns on each of them. I had a bite, the filling had a pleasant floral scent which lingered in my mouth, and that was quite close to Osmanthus flowers, but the taste was kind of nutty with a creamy texture as I chewed. I usually hate sugary food, but this cake was surprisingly delicious.
So, I took pictures of those cakes and sent them to my friends via WeChat. Both of us said those cakes made our day. I would say these hand-made mooncakes created a really wonderful memory for us, and it's stuck with me to present.
