Well, I've been dreaming of becoming a doctor someday. I've always enjoyed helping people out and receiving their gratitude and being a doctor might well be the biggest help I could offer to people because you're literally saving people's lives as well as their families.
You know, it's really tough to become a doctor. You have to be near perfect in every course you take in college so you can be eligible for medical school application, which is arguably the toughest part of all, and after you graduate, you need to pass a licensing exam to practice legally. If that's not enough, you still have to go through years of intern before you officially earn the title of "staff doctor", which means you can practice independently.
So far, I'm still in my second year of college, so this is a long way to go. I'm fully aware that I should not aim high, so I've been working things out one step at a time. I've been planning my university curriculum to make full use of time, therefore optimizing my GPA, in addition to actively volunteering at the hospital to gain experience in the field of healthcare.
I understand that this is a challenging and risky ambition to fulfill, but I'm willing to take on the challenge and I look forward to seeing how things go from now on.
