Not really. I mean, nowadays, if I want to notify someone, I'll just shoot a message because it takes way less time and I'm likely to get a much faster response than if I sent it via email. Right? Nobody constantly checks their email inboxes but they will instantly get a push notification the moment you text them, therefore reaching back to you faster.
