I really enjoyed playing practical jokes on my grandpa, which is my favorite game when I was little. With him, it’s like April Fool’s Day every day. And the most important thing is, he never got angry with me for this, I mean, it’s like our thing, you know, we could both get fun out of this.
I remember once, I played a childish prank, and here’s the story.
My grandpa had his driving license when he was 67, and right after he got the license, he bought himself a new car, actually it was his first car, so he treated this car like his baby, you know. And my grandpa has this habit, every time he locks the car, he would pull the handle to make sure the car is locked.
There are two keys to this car. My grandpa put the spare key at home. And one day, when I visited him, I saw he was just parking downstairs. I thought it would be fun to play another trick on him. So here’s what I did. When I saw him press the button to lock the car, I immediately used the spare key to unlock it. So when he pulled the handle, the door just opened. He was like ‘What?’ And we repeated this for nearly half an hour. In the end, I got caught, ‘cause my grandpa heard me laughing.
So, it’s really fun to play this ‘little game’ with him.
