雅思口语Part 2事件类出现了describe a special day that you went out but didn’t spend much money,不知道为什么,就直接想到了去郊游。还有一道题目,describe something you enjoy doing with an old person in your family,我们当然也可以说跟爷爷奶奶去郊游。虽然这两个话题,一个让描写某一次的经历,一个是惯常的经历,不过本质上的活动都差不多嘛:
Last summer vacation, my girlfriend and I had a day out in the countryside. We were kind of tired of going to the mall, eating out, watching a movie, that sort of things, so we thought it would be nice to do something different for a change. Plus, having a picnic in the countryside wouldn’t cost us much, we just needed to get some snacks and drinks from the supermarket, and fill up the gas tank in my car.
It’s a nice way to get close to nature, and we were pretty psyched about the trip. On our way there, we were just like people going on a road trip in the movies, you know, we waved our hands in the air, playing loud music and singing along.
When we got there, we managed to find a quiet, idyllic spot near the river. We put our huge blanket on the grass, and started to eat. It was super enjoyable, the views there was quite gorgeous, the sky was cloudless and the river was shimmering in the sunlight, the water was crystal clear, and we could hear the singing of birds, everything was perfect.
The best part is, there was no signal there, which means we could finally stay away from our phones and truly enjoy ourselves.
When it was getting dark, the sky became full of stars. So we just lay on the blanket and admired the starry night.
Now I think about it, this trip only cost us less than 100 RMB, but it turns out to be the most memorable short trip I’ve ever had.
