现在的机经里面，有一道很深奥的题目，特别像小学作文，是让大家说说a person you know whose job is important to our society. 于是大家脑海里肯定蹦出来了一群doctors，firefighters，street cleaners等等等等。
不过大家不要忘了自己每天都能见到的teachers啊!老师这个职业对社会超级重要啊，因为他们的职责是教育祖国未来的花朵啊，我们祖国的未来，就全靠你们这群娃的呀!
所以大家可以说说自己身边的老师，是如何改变同学们的命运的。比如如何让浪子回头的啊，如何让性格孤僻的孩子回归集体的啊，如何让后进生迎头赶上对人生重拾信心的啊……
这些当然都可以，不过如果大家想说一位影响力比较大的，不光影响了若干位孩子的老师，那么就可以选择一位很出名的老师，比如我们的俞敏洪老师(我不是托儿不是托儿不是托儿)：
I think Michael Yu who’s a famous Chinese educator has the job that is important to our society. He’s the chairman of New Oriental, which is the largest comprehensive educational company in China.
His story is really inspiring and educational. I heard he took the college entrance examination 3 times in a row, and finally got accepted to Peking University. He started New Oriental when he was still a young man. Back then, he didn’t even have a decent classroom. At first, he was a TOFEL teacher, and later several other teachers joined him. Today, New Orientation has branch schools all over the country. One of his most famous quotations is, “seek for hope when you are at your lowest, hard work will lift you up”. Countless students are inspired and influenced by that, and it has encouraged them to strive for their dreams no matter how difficult it is.
As far as I know, his business includes pre-school education, general courses for students of various age levels, online education, overseas study consulting, and textbook publishing. New Oriental has built short-time language educational schools, bookstores, and learning centers in almost every major city in China. According to statistics, there were about 15 million students who have studied in New Oriental. Michael has helped those students realize their dreams. They got decent marks in their exams, and to some extent, their path of life has been changed because of this. So I think Michael Yu’s job is really important.
