TASK 5
Briefly summarize the problem the speakers are discussing. Then state which of the two solutions from the conversation you would recommend. Explain the reasons for your recommendation.
· Problem: psychology test tomorrow morning, need books, left in the science lab.
· Solution 1. study from notes tonight and get the book early 6am (+tests at 8)
· Solution 2. study with another student, misses a lot of classes (+tutoring him instead)

sample answer:
The guy in the conversation is facing a problem that he has psychology test tomorrow at 8 in the morning and he needs the books to review for the test, however he left the books in the science lab. He can either study from notes tonight and get the book early at about 6 am tomorrow, and study for two hours or so, or study with another student tonight who missed a lot of classes.
If I were the guy, I would choose the second solution, although the student has missed a lot of classes, and I might need to tutor him along while reviewing for the test, it’s kind of mutual and I could learn from the tutoring process. Explaining knowledge to my classmate will help me understand the logic behind solutions and I can understand the materials thoroughly. Even if it might take more time, I could always stay up late with my classmate. However, if I chose the other solution, I might not have enough time to prepare for the test, or the lab won’t be open at 6 then I would be in trouble.
