Question 1: What can children learn from their parents?
Sample Answer:
There’re so many things they can learn from their parents. In fact, we can even say that kids learn almost everything from their parents in the early years, like potty training, how to get dressed and brush their teeth, and such life habits. But they also learn important values like the concept of family from their parents, and learn how to share, how to love, and how to respect others.
Question 2: What knowledge can children get from their grandparents?
Sample Answer:
Oh grandparents? Let me see. Grandparents are usually the wiser people in the family. They’ve gone through a lot, they’ve seen a lot so they know more about life. So I guess children can learn some life lessons from the stories shared by their grandparents.
Question 3: What kind of help do you think older people need?
Sample Answer:
The older they get, the more support they’re gonna need. The first thing that I can think of is medical help, like what kind of pills they should take, and they may need some health advice from their doctors. They also need their children to look after them, especially if they’re dysfunctional or disabled. And of course healthy senior people may want their kids to teach them how to use new technologies.
Question 4: What skills can young people learn from older people?
Sample Answer:
Well, the older generation may have some skills like handcrafting skills or cooking skills, so the younger generation can learn those things. Another thing they can learn is gardening. You know, gardening is something that older people usually enjoy doing. If their children or grandchildren get interested, they can just show them how to take care of the plants.
