Question 1: What are the rules students should follow at school?
Sample Answer:
Well, there’re quite a few rules that students should go by at school. And one of them which I think is quite important is “raise your hand before you speak” . If students don’t obey this rule and everyone speaks at will in class, the class will be seriously disrupted. Another rule that students should follow is “be on time” . They should be punctual not only for classes but also for assignments and other tasks given. This rule helps them develop a good habit of being on time, which prepares them for society and life after school finishes.
Question 2: Are the rules at school good or bad?
Sample Answer:
Well, some good rules are quite necessary and I believe it’s a good thing to have them at school, because they keep the students in order and the school running smoothly. Without them, students will get in the way of others learning. That said, rule makers should make sure the rules are made reasonably and if not, they can be counterproductive. For example, in some schools, students are not allowed to have long hair and if students grow their hair too long, they must have the hair cut at a proper length, otherwise they get punished. And I don’t think it’s a good idea to have such rules as they can lead students to rebel.
Question 3: What rules should children follow at home?
Sample Answer:
Well, there are a number of rules that children should obey at home and one of them is “no interrupting”, which means they should wait for their turn to speak. This is important because it’s an indication of children showing respect to those who’re speaking. Another rule is “no hurting” and that means children should keep their hands and feet to themselves. By obeying such rule, bullying among siblings and school mates can be avoided at an early age both at home and at school.
Question 4: How are people punished when parking at a wrong spot?
Sample Answer:
Well, in China, when you park your car at a wrong place, generally you’ll be fined by the traffic police and the fine depends on how long you parked at that particular spot. Sometimes it can be quite heavy, especially if you park your car for a long time in metropolises like Beijing or Shanghai.
