Describe a person who solved a problem in a smart way You should say:
Who this person is
What the problem was
How he/she solved it
and explain why you think he/she did it in a smart way.
题目解析:
通过对题卡进行审题,确定题目考查描述对象是人物,限定成分是使用聪明的方式解决问题, 所需时态为一般现在时,现在完成时,一般过去式,过去完成时,过去进行时等。关于人物题我们可以从三个部分展开描述,即(1)背景介绍 (2)扣题描述 (3)原因/感受。首先关于(1)背景介绍, 可以从该人物性格和职业两个角度进行展开。其次(2)扣题描述,可以从问题内容和解决方式展开,首先对问题进行描述,阐述问题起因。其次提供解决方案,描述解决方案内容,其次强调解决方案聪明特征,最后问题被解决之后结果。最后从(3)原因/感受两个方面来去描述聪明解决方式的原因。其中关于原因的描述我们也可以利用 Cheers 原则进行展开,比如社交 Communication, 健康 Health, 金钱 Economy/money, 教育 Education, 娱 乐 Recreation/entertainment, 放 松 Stress/relaxation 。

It is my grandfather who solved a problem in a smart way. Close on seventy, with salt and pepper hair, he used to be a history teacher in the senior secondary school. To be more specific, he’s been hugely popular as he ’ s ever such an approachable teacher who has a way with his students. On top of that, he’s been an expert at history who has read a huge number of books in terms of history.
The problem was that I’d been snowed under with history learning when I was in the senior secondary school. At that time, I ’ d always failed history exams, causing me frustrations in learning this module.
As a knowledgeable and an experienced history teacher, my grandfather gave me a clever solution to sorting out the problem. By this I mean, he got to take me through fascinating history exhibitions, appreciating a huge number of cultural relics and works of art. During visits to museums, he’d been putting across history knowledge in a very matter-of-the-fact way. Since then, I’d had a profound admiration for him and gained bags of confidence to face up the problems in history learning. Above all else, my history had come on by leaps and bounds.
So to put it in a nutshell, I suppose he did it in a smart way due to several reasons. First things first, my grandfather has used an innovative approach to tackling my learning issue of history. What sets his way apart from others is that, during visits to historical places, he shares alternative views on major historical events related to these exhibits. As a consequence, I get to acquire a brand range of history knowledge in such an efficient and effective way. In addition to this, I have obsessed with history events and historical figures, from which I get to delve into their cultural backgrounds, which hold so much appeal to me.
