今年的雅思口语1月份的换题季中，Part 1直接了当的问Handicraft，比如‘你小时候做过什么手工活吗?’‘你未来想做什么手工活?’‘你会收集手工艺品吗?’‘手工艺品在你们国家很流行吗?’，Part 2也不甘示弱，让大家描述在学校时的一个艺术活动或者制作手工艺品活动(Describe an art or craft activity you did at school)。
如同part1会问仰望天空，Part 2也问; Part1会问Parks，Part2会紧接一个靠近水的地方。对于手工艺品，很多学生其实并不陌生，小时候都学过那么几个手工作品的制作，比如折纸(paper folding)，剪纸(paper-cut)，泥人(clay figurine)，中国结(Chinese knot)等。在描述手工艺品活动的时候，只要大家能够将过程描述的清楚些，再加上自己的一点感受就可以了。要注意的是，这个话题可是要用过去时态的啊，切记。下面给大家一篇小文，参考一下吧：

Speaking of a craft activity I have attended, I’d like to share with you my experience of making a festival card. Festival card is a traditional manual art in China, which is popular in primary and secondary schools. Students used to cut the stiff paper into different shapes, then carve or draw some beautiful pictures on it.
I first learned to make a festival card in a handicraft class when I was 10 years old. My teacher told us the steps and then showed us the making process. My teacher divided us into four steps and offered us different pictures on the blackboard, such as animals, cars and buildings. The making process wasn’t easy, but my team chose a very complicated pattern. First we prepared some tools and materials, like some pieces of colored paper, scissors, colored pencils and knives. Then we drew a certain pattern and cut the paper according to the patterns on the blackboard. After that, we pasted them on the festival card as a whole, and wrote some blessing words on it. You know, my team chose the patterns of monkeys, because that was ‘Monkey Year’ in China. When I opened up the festival card, 5 little cute monkeys popped into my eyes.
Our work was highly praised by my teacher and classmates. They said we chose the most difficult pattern, but we made a masterpiece. Looking back now, I still think that activity was a good practice for creativity and hands-on ability. Most of all, it brought me a lot of fun and pride.
