比如海边烧烤big out on the steak,或者bury someone in the sand up to his neck等等搞笑的场景。
I’d like to talk about my parents’ wedding photo hanging on their bedroom wall.
It was taken 18 years ago. At that time, my mom was pregnant with me, so technically I’m in this photo as well.
In the picture, my parents were both in the prime of their life. My mom looked gorgeous and my dad was drop-dead handsome. She was holding a bouquet in her hands. If right now she can be compared to a rose, well back then, she was like a lily. Although they were not looking into each other’s eyes, I can still sense their love for each other.
My mom was dressed in a fairylike wedding gown. And my dad was in a tuxedo, looking like a gentleman.
This picture is a symbol of their love and it has witnessed the ups and downs through all these years. My mom told me that whenever she saw this picture, she could think of the marriage vows they took on their wedding day. It’s quite original actually, unlike the ones we usually hear in those romantic movies, like for better, for worse, for richer for poorer, we’ll be together until death do us apart, or things like that. My dad said to my mom, I could say those fancy things when I take the vow, but I prefer to give you my whole life to prove that my love for you would never change. So you see, my dad is the kind of person who believes that actions speak louder than words. So I think I’ll find a husband just like my dad.
Now it’s your turn!
